CREATE Council on the Arts is a nonprofit arts service organization. As the arts council, our purpose is to broaden and enrich the quality of life in Greene, Columbia & Schoharie Counties by developing and strengthening all the arts and by fostering cultural and arts related activities.
CREATE administers arts grants through funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. Through the SCR Grant Program, we are able to fund individual artists, arts education and community arts projects across the three counties we serve.
