What We Hold: Stories and Objects
In celebration of women's history month, CREATE is excited to announce a call for art!
Submissions are open to all women artists residing in the region. We encourage artists of all media to apply. CREATE membership is not a requirement to participate.
“What We Hold: Stories and Objects” is an invitation for artists to share their experiences through the art they create whether it's through words, objects or images.
● We invite all artists to submit up to 3 works of art for the exhibit and sale.
● Artworks in all categories and media are welcome for submission.
● All wall-mounted artworks should be ready to hang.
● An Artist Agreement Form will be available to sign upon notification of acceptance.
Submission Deadline: Jan 25
Notifications: Feb 1
Drop-Off Dates: Feb 4, 5, 6
Exhibition Dates: Feb 9 - Mar 10
Opening Reception: Fri, Feb 9
International Women's Day Event: Fri, Mar 8
All entries must be submitted for review. You will be notified of acceptance by Feb 1.

Are you or your organization interested in applying for a CREATE grant for arts programming, arts education, or as an individual artist? If so, CREATE is hosting a series of grant seminars in person and online throughout January and February to provide an overview of the application process and tips on how to submit an effective application. Attending a Grant Seminar is also a great way to meet artists from your community that are also interested in applying! *Attending a Grant Seminar (in-person or online) is required for all applicants.
