Schoharie County Arts Collaboration Presents “Vision, Light, and Structure” Exhibit Gallery@CREATE Exhibit Dates: Friday July 7th - Sunday August 13th, 2023 Opening Reception: Sunday, July 9th, 1-3pm (PHOTO CREDIT: Stephen Spretnjak, artist, title: collage series) Catskill, New York, June 26– CREATE Council On The Arts is excited to announce it has partnered up with Schoharie County Arts to produce a special, one-of-a-kind collaboration highlighting the artistic talents of several artists representing Schoharie County. A vibrant collection of work featuring photographs and paintings, “Vision, Light, and Structure” explores a range of themes and subjects of interest. All of the pieces come together to compose a rich mosaic composite of the artistic profile that is unique to Schoharie County. An opening reception for “Vision, Light, and Structure” will be held on Sunday, July 9 from 1-3pm. This exhibit will be on view from Friday, July 7 to Sunday, August 13. Gallery@CREATE is located at 398 Main Street in Catskill and is open Fridays, 4pm-7pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays, 11am-6pm. The exhibit is free and open to the public. CREATE COUNCIL ON THE ARTS is a non-profit, arts service organization whose purpose is to support and advance the arts and cultural community by broadening and enriching creative resources and economic growth in the region. CREATE serves as the Statewide Community Re-grant arts organization for Greene, Columbia and Schoharie Counties. Since 1975, CREATE has provided information and essential services to artists, arts organizations, cultural and educational institutions, civic groups, community agencies and the general public, and continues to grow its outreach as a regional arts council.
